I think it's more a testament of the type A thing some dogs have with tennis balls. Mine has the same. Wore the pads off his feet chasing one last week. What a nut.
Wanting the tennis ball may have been the motivating factor, but that dog still figured out that propelling the raft would get him close enough to grab it.
Not only does that pool need to be cleaned, but that back yard looks like crap. Of course, I have no room to talk since both my front and back yards are dirt, with some rocks mixed in. :)

My two prizewinners couldn't have done that.
That dog is smarter than most people out there! WOW!
brooke: er, uh, hmmm, are you referring to democrats?
That's one smart dog!
I wonder....Is that dog a pound puppy?
Uber-dog!
That's fantastic.
Absolutely. I don't think my pups could think up that solution without tons of teaching. That was so cool.
aow2: I don't know if it's a pound puppy or not. I'd like to know some behind the scene info on this.

Naturally!
Wow, that's really neat! I'm not sure most of my relatives are that smart...
jen: lol! I hope your relatives don't read The BLOG...
...not that there's much danger of that given my paltry traffic.
