Someone has just earned himself a spanking, and he'd have to help clean up, and I would hold it over his head till he died! And who left the can of paint in an accessable condition? They have earned death! DAD?!?!?!?! If it was mom, she deserves the clean up for not thinking! OY!
Oh, there would be a string of invectives over something like this in my house, but one must also address the lackadaisical supervision of an open can of paint in a room populated with little children.
Cube-You are right, 2 seconds and it can happen, whoever was using that can of paint was not engaged in thinking! And they deserved the cleanup! Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
I'm sorry, I have to laugh because I remember similar things my kids did. Yes I remember those "few choice words". Right now I'm thinking better thee than me. Also trust me, wait till the teens...As a teen my oldest daughter stole my car, changed the seat position and the radio station, used a lot of gas and miles and thought I wouldn't notice. Just look what you get to look forward to. Fasten your seatbelt, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Hey cube!! The only word I can think of is YIPPEE----whoever the parent is that wasn't aware that this was goin' on, deserves every masterful splatter of paint!!! :) Those kids are adorable and certainly young enough not to understand fully the consequences of their actions! :)
rgmb: Hey! Hey! Hey! I'm glad to hear from you again. Like the proverbial bad penny, you always turn up... except you're a good penny in my estimation :-)
Hope you are doing well.
And yes, I agree. These kids were sooo unsupervised that I must fault their parents. I mean, what were they thinking?

I've never met a kid who didn't like to fingerpaint.
My first thought was, "who would leave a can of paint where those kids could get it, and how long were they alone?"
Still, more than one curse word would be uttered, to be sure!
