When my late and I were first married, we lived on the mainland and had a grapevine, which is kind of neat in Florida! He used to make grape jelly if we had enough(not often.) Looking good! Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!
We planted the vine last year, but it didn't produce grapes. Then it went dormant for the winter & it looked dead. Then just recently shoots started up all over, leaves came, and then the tiny grape clusters.
Funny thing is, we aren't growing them for the grapes... we want the leaves to make stuffed grape leaves.
Grape jelly & wine are both good ideas, but I don't want purple feet ;-)

i cannot wait to see my grapevines next week - wild possum grapes!
nancpop likes to try his hand at wine but it's never turned out as he tests it too much and by the time it should be ready, it's gone.
My father used to have apple trees and grape vines at the old house when I was small...
*sigh*
Are you going to squish the little things with your bare feet later? ;)
