Fashion Don't

A model wears a creation by Japanese fashion designer Junya Watanabe for his Fall-Winter 2008-2009 ready-to-wear collection presented in Paris.

Ready-to-wear?

I don't think so... more like ready-to-throw into the nearest trash receptacle.

I'd love to hear what this fashion victim, er model, really thinks of this ghastly outfit.

It gets harder and harder to get uglier and uglier.

One morning after a flip-flopping/twisting-turning night of sleep, and my pillowcase/pillow/pajamas ended up looking like this ensemble.

They can't be serious can they?

nanc: It's high fashion lunacy. It's a wonder that model didn't walk right off the runway or suffocate or both.

jan: Just when you think it can't get uglier, one of these "designers" manages to top the last fugly creation.

balou: lol.

Unfortunately, it is serious.

I'm going to go all feminista here... These types of fashion shows are sexist, misogynistic farces around.

That outfit is truly hitonious!
How can she breathe?
I guess she can see, but I'm not sure about that.
I hope no one gets me (or you) this for Christmas.
It would certainly be returned from whence it came.

Merry Christmas!
Enjoy it to the fullest.

ru roh. I was thinking what Brooke was thinking. This outfit would go over great in Iran! no need for a burkah when you have this little number. Yowee!
