Z: I know what you mean about cats. We've got 3 (down from 4) and I know that if a kitten came along, I'd find it hard to resist because cats are so much easier than dogs.
To me, cats are like Lays potato chips... you can't have just one!
Our Thanksgiving was overflowing with family, yummy food, and good cheer. The only downside was that it flew by all too quickly.

Cube: 0800 was a compromise developed by several mornings of training... Any yowling or beating on our oldest daughters door was met with a squirting from the water spritzer on my bedside table.
He lets me sleep longer than the kids would, and I don't drown him. ;)

Isn't it weird? No matter how early we get up or how late we sleep in, he sounds off (rather insistently) at exactly 0800.
Same thing at 1600, ON THE DOT.
My cat greets Monday morning as she does friday: with utter disdain, a bowl of food and a nice morning sleep.
