Not Kidding

Kid You Not-Goats Can Read Your Face

And apparently they like yoga, too.

But why just goats?

Has anyone checked with gators, moose, elk, deer, raccoons, possums, birds, algae...?

Yet Another FAIL

Venezuela's Maduro Admits Socialism Has Failed

Geez, I could've told you that at Marx & Engels.

Why some people don't learn the lessons of history is beyond me especially when history is not that far back in history, i.e., the lessons of Cuba.

Back in December 15, 2004, I used the photo below as illustrative of Madonna's Reinvention Tour:

Below is a photo of Madonna at the recent tribute/non-tribute to Aretha Franklin...

Prophetic or perhaps Madge reads The BLOG?

Desolate Lawn

So goodbye, dear friend.

On Sunday, our neighbor's tree service took down a very large oak tree that's been our neighbor for 20 years because it wasn't safe anymore due to a rotted core (see below).

Unfortunately, the tree service broke our water line and we were out of water for 2.5 hours but luckily they were able to temporarily patch the line until a plumbing service could replace it.

Today the plumbers left us without water for almost 3 hours until they were able to replace the entire water line.

Meanwhile our front lawn looks like we called in a mortar barrage.

I keep telling myself, "This too shall pass."

The Professor And Nimrod

What Are We To Make Of The Case Of Scholar Avital Ronell?

The same exact thing we should make out of the case of any professor who abuses a graduate student. Being a scholarly "queer" feminist professor doesn't give you a license to harass.

Easy peasy.

What I found much more interesting than the above story is found in the comments and it involves the backstory surrounding the name Nimrod, which just happens to be the name of the unfortunate graduate student. Did you know that the name Nimrod means "Great Hunter" and when Buggs Bunny called Elmer Fudd "Nimrod", it was because he was being sarcastic and not because it was an insult in and of itself.

Good old Buggs. He continues to entertain me after all these years.

Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a black cat to highlight the plight of these felines who are often overlooked for adoption because of the superstitions surrounding their color.

Today is not to be confused with National Black Cat day which falls on October 25th ... hey, black cats need all the help they can get.

Happy Friday everybody!

Raw Deception

In this article from the American Thinker, Exposed: the Deep State's Authorship and Publication of the Dossier, author Clarice Feldman nicely summarizes the meta data article by Yaacov Apelbaum, The Mechanics Of Deception.

Yaacov Apelbaum's article is long, but an incredible compilation of facts that expose the fiction of the Mueller investigation. Well worth the read.

Fake Is Fake

Newseum Apologizes For Selling "fake news" T-shirt

I'm not one bit sorry for my CNN photoshop.

Newseum shouldn't be sorry either.

[The BLOG note: CNN isn't the only media outlet that is a purveyor of fake news and is merely being used as the most readily identified symbol of the media.]

I Loath Self-loathing White People*

Talk About PATHETIC: Self-hating Lefties Voice Support For Sarah Jeong Even Though She BLOCKED THEM

* Even though the left believes it's perfectly alright to malign white people, I'm not a lefty bigot so I'm covering my white arse by stating that the title of this post is satirical in nature.

Trump Times

I don't subscribe to the paper anymore, but if I did, this is what the front page of the Tampa Bay Times looks like this morning.
