Wishing you all a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving!

MTGA

After 20 years, the Afghani military should've been able to stand up on its own. I'm sure the reasons why it wasn't will be examined.

We've all wanted our military out of there, and we all knew it wouldn't be pretty, but did it have to be people-falling-off-airplanes ugly?

We're living in some interesting times indeed.

Biden: Come On Down

The fall of Afghanistan is reminiscent of the fall of Saigon to me, unfortunately the taliban have huge advantages today.

Back then, we didn't have the Viet Cong pouring into our southern border.

Any Gator Fans Out There?

Massive alligator shows up at front door of Florida home, tries to meet neighbor's dog

OK, my youngest daughter attended Florida State University for a while, and we were fans, but this is a bit too literal for my tastes.

Yikes!

Yesterday, June 25th,  was June Lockhart's 96th birthday.

Yes, 96!

Amazing.

Trump Trumps Again

Trump was right about all of the above.

[Editor's note: I had to send this pic to my email in order to save it because it wouldn't save otherwise.]

Cat Blog Friday

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... a cat who works for Home Depot.

I post this because our freezer died yesterday and we had to deal with Home Depot and it felt as though it was run by cats like this one.

We ended up getting a freezer from Lowes and no food was lost.

Happy Friday everybody!

Racist Claptrap

Democrat Media Under-Report On Heroic Deed Amid Claims Of Racism And Calls To Defund The Police

White cop saves drowning black man.

Not news according to our democrat media.

Condolences to the family of Deputy Bill Smith, a man who did his job and didn't look at the color of the person he was saving.

It would be heartwarming to hear this story, but it's not going to be told by the MSM... unless we twist their arm.

So... twist away, people. Make them print the truth.

Shark O-Rama

👀  👀

Drone Pilot Records Sharks Swimming Near People in Malibu

I hate the idea of being in the ocean and that there is a shark anywhere near me.

This is why I have a pool!

[Editor note: There is an Internet joke..."At any given moment, there is a shark behind you. It might be a thousand miles away, but there is a shark behind you."]

Night Of The Living Brain Dead Mayor

55 Shot During Weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Chicago

Fifty-five people were shot, five fatally, during the weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot's (D) Chicago.

How's strict gun control working for you, Mayor Lori?

Do those black lives not matter to you?

Origins

COVID literally stands for "Chinese Originated Viral Infectious Disease" and the number 19 is due to this being the 19th virus to come out of China.

Former head of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) Dr. Robert Redfield recently said Covid-19 likely leaked from a Chinese research lab...

Once I learned there was a Biosafety Level 4 research lab, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, near the live food mart, I never  believed it came from eating bats.

The ChiComs are using our political correctness against us and they're very successful at it.

Women's Rights?

U.N. Elects Iran, China To Women’s Rights Commission

Seriously?

Who in the world thinks this is a good idea? Well, apparently lots of countries do because Iran received 43 votes and China 48 votes out of a total of 53 votes.

I feel as though I've fallen down a rabbit hole into Wonderland. This is insanity.

Old Fashioned Knife Fight?

Dana Loesch wants to know if police should have broken up that ‘old fashioned teenage knife fight’ that killed a 13-year-old

Who in their right mind considers this as something police should just leave alone because it's something that's been happening forever?

I grew up in Manhattan and I never had any old fashioned teenage knife fights. Did you?

This is the kind of insanity that prevails in our world today and it's only going to worsen if it's allowed to continue.

Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”

I got a kick out of this photo. Every goth girl should have her very own pet raven to ride with on the subway, right?

All joking aside, some birds get unfair treatment when they're named. A group of ravens is referred to as an unkindness. A group of crows is referred to as a murder.

Who is in charge of naming birds and what do they have against them?

ChiCom Future?

Get Ready for the Struggle Session In America, and even more so on Twitter, there’s a whiff of China’s Cultural Revolution in the air.

This cautionary tale is rich in irony coming from Never Trumper, Peggy Noonan, herself.

We went from imaginary Russians interfering with an election four years ago, to real ChiComs who own a current, and mentally challenged US president.

Peg, what did you think would happen when you went against Trump as vociferously as you did?

What did you think would happen when you wrote column after column against a conservative republican President who actually accomplished things that other republicans only talked about forever?

Don't come crying about to me about  the 'whiff in the air' about the ChiCom revolution here in America. You are responsible for the new revolution. I have no sympathy for you.

Censorship Happens

“There is more than one way to burn a book. And the world is full of people running about with lit matches.” - Ray Bradbury

[Editor's note: Hat tip to James Woods, whose account I follow on Twitter, yet his tweets don't appear on my twitter feed anymore. I have to specifically go to his site to see his posts. It's a subtle form of censorship, but censorship just the same.]

Lost Ball

This is where my husband's ball landed during a recent round of golf.

Can you believe he tried to grab that ball with his 18' telescoping ball retriever?

I asked him why he would take such a foolish risk.

"It was a Bridgestone B330."

😒

Woka Cola

Whistleblower: Coca Cola Uses Antiracist Training That Tells Emplyees 'Try To Be Less White'

Try to be less white?

I find their "antiracist' training to be quite racist to whites.

I wish Coca Cola, and other "woke" companies would stick to business and stop promoting racist liberal/progressive policies.

In the meantime, drink more water.

Perseverance Perseveres

"Touchdown confirmed!": NASA celebrates as Perseverance rover lands on Mars.

NASA's Perseverance rover landed at 3:57 EST in Jezero Crater.

It will spend the next two years searching for fossils of microbial alien life.

Thank goodness. I could use some good news.

Cat Blog Friday (Buccaneer Style)

For this Cat Blog Friday...

... in honor of Tampa Bay's Super Bowl win,

a Buccaneer kitty... Arghh!

The unique flyover, which included three bombers, a B-1, a B-52, and led by a B-2, flew over my house on their way to the Raymond James Stadium.

We heard the cannons go off on the pirate ship when the Bucs won, becoming the first team in NFL history to play and win a Super Bowl on their home field.

Not bad for me Buccos.

Happy Friday, everybody!

Arghh!
