The Problem Is Obama
With advisors like Eric Fehrnstrom, Mitt Romney doesn't need a hostile press and GOP hopefuls who will do or say anything to skewer him.

Dangerous Break
AFP Story On Obama Daughter's Spring Break Trip To Mexico Scrubbed From Internet
Censorship in America? Substitute a Republican president's 13 year old daughter going on a costly spring break trip to a country where Americans have been advised not to visit and see if there is a different approach to the media coverage of the event.
Some pictures of this listless bunch are still available from the Mexican press at Quien.com
Hurry though, we don't know how much longer this story will be allowed to be news.

Pink Slime
Soylent green is people... so what is pink slime?
If you're not familiar with pink slime, also known as lean beef trimmings, go HERE to read the "gristly" details.
The good news is that starting in the fall, schools will be 'allowed' to forsake pink slime in the cafeteria food of American children. Thanks to good ole public pressure.
In case you're wondering, here's a taste test from a real Foodie who volunteered to eat a pink slime burger:
'Pink Slime' Sounds Gross, But How Does It Taste?
Chances are we've all eaten it, but until the public refuses to be fed substances such as pink slime, it might be a good idea to grind your own ground beef or stay away from it altogther.

Shed Of The Year
No, not my two sheds, although I wouldn't be upset over getting a prize for more than one shed ;-)
Shed Of The Year
Anyway, where does your shed rate?
Cat Blog Monday
Why a Cat Blog Monday?
Because it's always a good day to blog about cats.
This is a photo of our newest family member, ShoShin. We originally went to the Humane Society to adopt a kitten, but every single family member was drawn to this 2 year-old Maine coon with the sweet disposition. Fate interceded and this wonderful kitty came home with us.
She answered to her name so we thought it would be best if we let her keep it.
ShoShin... a concept in Zen Buddhism meaning "beginner's mind".
Oh, well. I would've tried to give her a Star Trek name so maybe she's better off ;-)
Happy Monday, everybody!
