Plame Name Blame Game

Karl Rove demonstrating Joe "Yellowcake" Wilson's credibility?

No, because Wilson doesn't have any credibility to speak of...not even that little bit.

Mark Steyn, columnist for the Chicago Sun Times writes, "But in the real world there's only one scandal in this whole wretched business -- that the CIA, as part of its institutional obstruction of the administration, set up a pathetic ''fact-finding mission'' that would be considered a joke by any serious intelligence agency and compounded it by sending, at the behest of his wife, a shrill politically motivated poseur who, for the sake of 15 minutes' celebrity on the cable gabfest circuit, misled the nation about what he found.

Steyn is right on the mark. Read the rest of Steyn's insightful piece here .

Believe me, it's worth the read.

This is another politically motivated, cooked up non-issue. We have more important things to deal with than the MSM's irrational need to "Get Bush".

Steyn is so right. Poseur is a perfect term to describe Ambassador Wilson. Same goes for his wife too. (She may be employed by the CIA, but she's definitely no Sydney Bristow!)

What a ridiculous excuse of a scandal. (I guess the whole Ohio recount thing must've fizzled out!)

This 'scandal' is no different than the President's service in the Air National Guard 'scandal', or Tom Delay's ethics 'scandal', or the Rumsfeld 'scandal', & others too numerous to list.

It does get tiresome.

Steyn is always worth the read, he's replacing Lileks as my favorite columnist. Did you see this cartoon?

Darrell, I haven't read Lileks in a while. Ever since he wrote his 70's furniture book, I found that the quality of his columns dropped a little bit...like he wasn't devoting enough time to them. But when Lileks is on, he's very good.

The cartoon is a hoot.
