Imus Imbroglio

Don Imus, a.k.a The Cryptkeeper is UNDERFIRE

The resemblance is uncanny!

Wow, the Imus thing is just crazy. I personally have mixed feelings about it. If any of you care to read it, one of our writers over at Highbrid Nation worked with Imus over at WFAN for several years and recently chimed in on the whole situation. He also reveals some details that the media is failing to report on in regards to the suspension

evorgleb: Thanks. Imus sounds like one of the rich elite who doesn't have time for the little people.

Still, I don't like the idea of the deeply dishonest duo of Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton deciding what we get to hear on the airwaves. Who are they to be moral arbiters of anything?

I think they're making too much of it. It's like the 21st Century Salem Witch trials. Who cares what he says? I think he's a nincomepoop... One of the women said her victory means nothing now in view of his comments. Good grief. Carry on!!

that brittleheaded honkie!

sorry, that's just coming from a brittlehaired honkie...my terrible...

eyes: The Rutgers press conference was surreal at times. How can you let some rich a$$hole's idiotic "comedy" routine bring down your victorious moment?

I'm sick of groups looking for victomhood. I'm of the school of thought that says shake off this nonsense & stand tall. Stand proud.

nanc: BTW I've never even heard the term "brittleheaded honkie"...
does it mean your head will shatter into a million little shards if you hit the ground suddenly?

I just want to know.

I've lost all respect for Imus. Not because of his typically off-color, off-the-cuff remark. That's just Imus. No, I've lost all respect for him because he stooped to apologize to that moron Al Sharpton. I'd have thought Imus had more spine than that.

"The resemblance is uncanny!" So much so it's creepy - LOL

I honestly think these media types are saying outlandish things just to get publicity. The whole Donald/Rosie thing, then Bill O'Reilly and Geraldo...it seems like they shoot their mouth off and then everyone is talking about them for the next week. I suspect we'll see more and more of it, and it is all calculated to get ratings and name recognition.

Just my opinion.

darrell: I never had much respect for Imus so I didn't have much to lose. He uses the show to fund his moneymaking scams like the Imus Ranch which employs him, Dierdre, & his brother. I'd love to see the creative accounting for that enterprise.

I do agree that going on Sharpton's show was a big mistake.

Playing the race card is what Al Sharptongue & Jesse Jacka$$ do for a living. Endless mea culpas only give these 2 extortionists more power than they already have.

marti: You may have something there. I've watched more Imus recently than ever before.

He is such a nasty individual, that I must confess there is a degree of schadenfreude involved in watching him squirm.

Spew alert!

That comparison to the Cryptkeeper is HILARIOUS. For a sixty-some year old man, he looks like he may be about a million years old. Must be all of that self-hatred and bad attitude...

Unfortunately, Imus isn't even a bit as entertaining as the original undead host!

brooke: He is fun to make fun of though. Somebody called him a cadaver in a cowboy hat. I thought that was a hoot.

woman: Maybe he is. His troubles keep growing. He's losing advertisers and now the media is looking into his scam charity ranch.

I just heard that the MSNBC simulcast of Imus's radio show has been cancelled.

This is what happens when you go on the endless apology tour.

Will the radio show be far behind?

Well they really have some sort of a resemblance
