It's 85 degrees now (4 PM) and not a cloud in the sky. Our winter was mild compared to so much of the country who have been through a very hard time with cold and ice.
I basked in the sun this afternoon. My skin is winter-white and needs a tan.
After a spring like March when I wanted to plant tomatoes, April has been rainy and chilly. Daytime temperatures are barely in the 60s which makes tomato plants shiver.
I'm right down from you on St. Pete Beach. It's been a pretty cold winter for us. I've had to turn on the heat, like, seven or eight times. That's just crazy man!
My right hand is raised and I solemnly swear that I will not complain one single time this summer about the heat. This winters was just too, too cold for me to dare to complain about being too warm ever again in my life.
Sue Hanes: That was in the morning. By 4pm it was 85 degrees. I'm running around in shorts and loving it. Can't wait for summer when the real heat begins.

We'll be 80 here on Sunday. I can't complain about the winter here in California. It's been very mild. Not enough rain though.
Have a fabulous day. ☺

Cube - Are you kidding? It's 80 degrees there. We feel lucky if it's 60. Today we are having rain all day so that cools it off.
Sandee speak for yourself, it's 25 degrees here.
Jan: I love geeky humor too.
I'm very much like a tomato plant... temps in the 60s make me shiver too :-)
DaBlade: Or moms. Glad you liked it.
Scott Oglesby: I agree. It was a cold winter for us.
Granny Annie: Amen. Then again, cold winter or not, I never complain about the heat. I love it.

Woodsterman (Odie): Yikes! This tropical flower wouldn't thrive in that climate.
