Spiders Heart Mazdas

This caught my eye and, for the life of me, I can't figure out why the yellow sac spider (Cheiracanthium mildei) prefers Mazdas to other cars. This is the second recall in three years!

Mazda Recalling Cars Due To Danger From Spider

Freaky stuff that's not from Florida. That makes me happy.

I agree. I'm just glad they're not attracted to Nissans.

Well here's a car I won't buy. Good grief.

Have a fabulous day. :)

Sandee: I know. What is up with these spiders? I had no idea they were so savvy about different car models.

Cube - I'm not real crazy about spiders. In fact they are my least favorite organisms in the animal kingdom. So I'll skip commenting on this one. : ]

Mazdas only? That's too weird.

What chemical is there, maybe?

How about Chevy Pick-ups? huh, huh, huh?

Sue Hanes: It's OK. My least favorite organisms are roaches, especially the flying ones. I can coexist with spiders that know their place and stay on their webs.

Always On Watch: It is weird. What is it about Mazdas? Is there a design flaw that doesn't exist in other cars. You mentioned a chemical... most cars smell like gas... why not infest them?

This has flummoxed me.

Woodsterman (Odie): Chevy trucks just attract flies, not spiders ;-)

Glad I buy American! lol I wonder if its due to the ease of entry for them. Whatever, it sure is weird and funny. =:]
