Welcome to Jurassic Park. I hope there are exceptions to the rule for not peeing in the pool.

It does appear that the swim toy is in shock.

Cube - That picture is scary. Be sure to check out your pool before jumping in!

I've been to Florida and it's a beautiful state, but this is why I wouldn't/couldn't live there. Then there is hurricane season.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

DaBlade: I have a sign for my "ool"... there is no pee in it so I hope the reptile plays by the rules.

Granny Annie: Our River Rat raft would tangle with that reptile. It's a heavy duty inner tube.

Sue Hanes: I'm more cautious about temperature than reptiles.

Sandee: You're right, Florida is a beautiful state except it's cohabited by kooky people and strange animals. Yikes!

I remember reading that the alligator or crocodile (I always mix them up) are most likely to survive a devastation of any kind on the planet. Something like that. Anyway, they do seem more brazen than ever and completely unafraid of wandering into places like swimming pools. Makes me glad I don't have one. I don't need to worry about gators in my pool.

Robin: Crocs come from Africa I think. It's alligators here in Florida.

I didn't know about their survival from devastation, but they do get around.

My husband was just standing at a local golf course when he looked down and a little 3 foot gator was right by his foot.

I've even heard of gators trying to get into a doggie door.

It'll behoove you to turn on the pool lights before you jump into the water at night.
