Frappo-Crappo

First of all, I don't believe in shaming people for their personal behavior, because if you are hell bent on putting this excessive amount of sugar in your body, then have at it.

Me, I've never had Starbuck's coffee. I'm happy with Folgers, a little milk or cream if you've got it, and NO sugar.

I'm not going to judge... how do you like your coffee.?

Funny you should ask. I drank coffee from the time I was 15 until well into adulthood. I was drinking a plain cup of coffee with some friends in Starbucks one day when they asked why I didn't order something more exotic. I had to confess that I never liked the taste of coffee, it was just something that kick started my mornings. I had to have caffeine. Then someone suggested that tea had as much caffeine as coffee. And that was my last cup of coffee ever. Thanks, Starbucks.

I go to Starbucks now and then and then I just get the regular coffee. I don't need the sugar either. I don't care what others put in their bodies either. It's your life to do what you wish.

Have a fabulous day. ☺

Here in south Louisiana, where coffee is a religion (Baptist whiskey, anyone?), some people put cream and sugar but i like mine the way the Good Lord intended -- black like the swamp mud and hot as the bayou in August.

Sweetie and i go to a local coffee shop once in a while just to get away, just the two of us, as it's not expensive. We get plain coffee, although i do like the Starbucks decaf with a bit of coconut milk in it, and he likes a small serving of cake or pastry at times.

If you are going to put that much sugar in you, that's your indigestion, is my opinion.

Cube - You are smart not to get hooked on Starbuck's coffee.
I like my coffee with a little milk in it - thanks.

Jan: My mom was always after me to drink coffee, but I didn't even try coffee until high school because I was cold one day and needed to drink something hot. I found that I loved the taste from the get go and the caffeine kick was just icing on the cake for a serious student like myself.

I love tea... my favorite is Earl Gray, black and hot... just like Captain Picard. My choice for the morning, though, is coffee.

Exotic coffee has never hit the spot with me.

Sandee: The whole pretentious Starbucks scene never appealed to me. If I ordered an iced cranberry tea, I'd say a medium. And the guy would say "oh you mean a Grande' and I'd say, "That's what I said, a medium." It's the only time I'm been fresh with a cashier. I hope that working for such a pretentious company earns them some big benefits.

Messymimi: Your description of southern coffee should be in a southern gothic novel, and if it isn't yet, it should be. I love it.

I hear ya about the rest. It's your coffee and you should drink it like you want.

coffee? I rarely drink coffee- I'd rather have a glass of fresh OJ.....but when I do drink coffee I make it myself and add milk and sugar....no $tarbuck$ for me- that's just a silly waste of money! Cheers!
