BAPTISM NOW SAVES YOU--BY STEVE FINNELL1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:(KJB)The Bible says baptism doth now save us .....by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.Faith alone advocates say baptism has nothing to do with salvation. They say it is a simple act of obedience.1 Peter 3:21 Baptism, which is like that water, now saves you. Baptism doesn't save by removing dirt from the body. Rather, baptism is a request to God for a clear conscience. It saves you through Jesus Christ, who came back from death to life.(God's Word Translation)The Bible says baptism....now saves you.The Bible says baptism is a request to God for a clear conscience.Faith only proponents say water baptism has nothing to do with salvation. They say baptism is only essential in order to join a denominational church.Faith only enthusiasts proclaim that baptism does not save, but is only a testimony of faith to the community.Faith only defenders state that men can get to heaven without being baptized in water, however they cannot join the local church without baptism.Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.(English Standard Version)Jesus said whoever is baptized will be saved. Will be, is future tense not past tense. Will be saved does not mean has already been saved. Faith only champions say men are baptized because their sins have already been forgiven.YOU ARE INVITED TO FOLLOW MY BLOG. http://steve-finnell.blogspot.com
I've always been sure organic food was a big scam, but "grown in China" is a hoot I hadn't expected. All these self-righteous purists are paying more for a poorer quality food.
steve finnell: thanks for stopping by.
Jan: I have long suspected the scammage myself which is why I don't buy organic produce. That Whole Foods was buying produce from China, of all places, was a surprise to me. Can you say melamine?
Steve is on a roll isn't he. Bless his heart.I've not bought organic. Or a smart car, or any other fad running amok. The sheep can do whatever they want and I'll do whatever I want. As you will.Have a fabulous day. ☺
When you use human feces to fertilize (the way that they do in China) does it make vegetables more organic and does it make them taste better?
Thus what i have been saying forever, that it's more important to eat your fruits and veggies than it is to skip them because you cannot afford organic. It's eating healthy foods that will help you stay healthy (along with good sleep, and exercise, and having good ways to destress, and etc.).
Organic, Yea, agree. Like bottled water. I once read where NYC tap water was cleaner than most bottled water.
Sandee: I don't know Steve, but I'm not one to judge. Whatever floats your boat. I've always been skeptical about organic products myself and I have owned SUVs since 1987. For me, it's been a case of once you go high, wave low riding cars bye bye ;)Fellow cats among the herd of sheeple.
LL: Ugh, not to mention the indiscriminate use of pesticides way beyond anything allowed in the US. Throw in some melamine because it's everywhere in China. Does it taste better? Good question. Ask the fools paying waaay more for waaay less at Whole Foods because I don't waste my money there.
Messymimi: That's common sense. I buy regular produce and wash it well. I only believe something is really organic if it comes from my garden or from the garden of a friend or family member.
Kid: I wasn't always this way, but I've grown skeptical about many things... now nasty bottled water too? Come to think of it, I drank New York city tap water for 11 years and it didn't kill me... yet ;)
