Belated Cat Blog Friday
For this belated Cat Blog Friday...
... a cat unfairly accused of hiding in a tree armed with an assault rifle.
Newport Police 'issue warning' To Cat That Looks Like It's Holding An Assault Rifle
Officials said, "It was determined that the cat wasn’t in possession of a high powered weapon, but rather holding onto a “non-lethal branch.”
The cat was issued a warning and sent home, but where does it go to get it's sterling reputation back?
:(
Try to have a good weekend despite this episode of feline inequity.

Poor kitty. Another unjustly accused.
I linked you to Feline Friday already.
Lots of accusations going on. Usually blaming the wrong thing too.
Have a fabulous weekend. ♥
Granny Annie: This picture has been on the internet since last summer. The Newport Police saw it and put it on Facebook as a joke. This poor cat was just perched in front of a branch.
Sandee: Thanks for linking. As far as the cat, it was a joke by the Newport Police. The photo has been circulating on the internet and they thought it would make a sweet post on Facebook.
The cat is only guilty of perching behind an unfortunately shaped branch.
Check this one out
Sounds like someone had a sense of humor.
Kid: Lol. I watched the cat watching the horror movie first. The cat's body language and pupil dilation in reaction to the creaking door, the footsteps and finally the scream was hilarious. Then I watched the one with cats in full panic mode. What insanely wonderful animals cat are. Just a joy to have around.
Messymimi: Yes, and humor makes life's worries a little more tolerable.
If I could still climb trees, that's where I would go to get away from (some) people.
Cube, My thoughts Exactly. I also like when the cat plopped down with the paws under the chest. Like 'Oh, this is getting interesting. Charlie bring the popcorn!"
Angie: Lol. Some people drive me up a wall.
Kid: Yeah, until he got terrified and decided he had had enough of this hooman movie. Sounds like some scaredy-cat people I know.
