{{{ Polar Vortex }}}

In the U.S., six states had temperatures equal to or less than the low of minus 27 degrees F registered at the South Pole station on Wednesday... North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota.

My youngest daughter is ELATED that she didn't accept a job offer that would have taken her from Florida to MINNESOTA. Probably, she would've been frozen, unable to do more than finger tap... dot dot dot, dash dash dash, dot dot dot.

Today our high temperature is predicted to be ~ 62 degrees F so it's time for the socks 😎

Don't talk too loud or they will ALL move there.

We will be having a high of 64 degrees today. Won't be long and we'll be looking at the firs signs of spring. About mid-February.

Have a fabulous day and stay warm. ♥

Humans were not meant to live in those temperatures

Borepatch has a post saying it was -38 in Illinois this morning. That’s exactly 100 degrees colder than here (62).

I can’t even imagine that.

When I lived in Tempe Arizona, we put sweaters on at 70 degrees.

I very much remember the cold snap we had for almost three months across the mid west in the early 80's.
This polar "vortex" is just a re-branding of "weather".
