Defund Or Defunct

This is a real chiller if you happen to cherish free speech...

NPR CEO Vivian Schiller Key Architect Of FCC Govt Takeover Of The News

Firing Juan Williams brought to light an issue the lefties are loathe to make public, especially so close to an election. It's a good thing these liberals aren't half as bright as they think they are.

I would say that's a bit of an understatement.

Cat Bog Friday

Victoria Vetri, the woman who guest starred as a cat in Star Trek: The Orignial Series episode, "Assignment Earth" has been charged with the attempted murder of her husband or boyfriend. It's too soon to know anything about motive yet.

Star Trek Cat Guest Star Shoots Husband

As an interesting side note, Vetri also played Terry Ginoffrio in "Rosemary's Baby." The dialogue even mentioned Vetri's name, but the character denied seeing any resemblance between herself and the actress.

Tanis, anyone?

New Blog

Can't post a picture because Blogger is having maintenance issues, but I can showcase an eye-opening new blog:

Fellowship Of The Minds: Conservatives Who Care About America

Holy cow!

If only half of this stuff is true, I can still exclaim, "Holy Cow!"

Michelle Obama Tries To Revive Democrats' Spirits

That's like a zombie tasked with reviving a human who has fainted because the zombie

This video is short, but illustrative of the lengths the liberal media will go to protect another liberal...

Book Toss

From the UK Daily Mail:

Obama Has The Book Thrown At Him: Moment A Missile Narrowly Misses U.S. President's Head (And What's With The Naked Man?)

Remember when President Bush had two shoes thrown at his head by an irate Iraqi reporter? That footage was played over and over on the cable news shows.

I wonder if this will get some attention here other than a link on Drudge.

Man Bites Dog!

It's often said, if a dog bites a man it's not news, but if a man bites a dog, you've got a story.

Well, here is that story.

Man Bites Police Dog

Two words explains it all... angel dust.

Dylan Not Impressed With The Big 0

This one is short but sweet:

Even I Couldn't Impress Bob Dylan, Obama Admits

Dylan refused to even speak with Obama. "He wouldn't come to the rehearsal... He didn't want to take a picture with me; usually all the talent is dying to take a picture with me and Michelle before the show, but he didn't show up to that."

Obama can't understand someone not being into him. Naked narcissism for all to see.

Trek Files

From GEARlog:

BEAM
ME UP - A Slice: Introducing The Star Trek Pizza Cutter

This Enterprise pizza cutter is too pricey for me, but she sure is purdy.

So many Trek collectibles, so little money.

*sigh*

Segway To Doom

I couldn't not post about this:

Segway Company Owner Jimi Heselden Dies In freak Accident After Riding One Of The Machines Off A Cliff And Into A River

I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but if I'm anywhere near a cliff, I think I'd rather be on a skateboard than a segway.

I even worry about those grannies in the commercials when they're on their Hoverounds near the Grand Canyon. I always yell at them to get away from the edge...

This is an awful thing.

Will The Real Malik Please Stand Up

From Andrew Breitbart's Big Government site comes this shocker:

Which Malik Shabazz Visited The Private Residence At The White House in July 2009, Mr. President?

The White House denies that it was the Malik Shabazz who was involved in the New Black Panther voter intimidation case.

Comon, just how much crap does the Obama administration expect us to believe?

Ayers Denied

Emeritus Status For Ayers Denied

I'm glad the terrorist Ayers was denied emeritus status, but frankly, where were the trustees when he was hired as a professor in 1987?

Ayers belongs in jail.

More Omission?

Obama goes to church to hear a Muslim speaker!: Why Does This 'Christian' Always Flock To Hear The Muslim Message?

I recall reading that the Obamas stayed at church only one hour. Why so specific? Could it be that the MSM wanted to make sure no one concluded that they listened to the moslem speaker at 10 am?

I'm just saying...

Omission By Design?

Does President Obama Think Our Rights Come From Our Creator?

Don't bother watching the whole video... just fast forward to 22:30 and judge for yourself.

Now we know why the Obamas went to church on Sunday.

I'm just wondering where she bought that hellishly awful dress.

Deep Fried Beer

Texas Chef Successfully Deep-Fries... Beer!

It looks like beer ravioli to me...

Would I try it?

Yes, but maybe only once because I like my beer icy cold.

Would you try deep-fried beer?

Unite & Conquer

Christine O'Donnell On Rove's 'Un-factual' Remarks And 'Republican Cannibalism'

Now is no time for 'Republican Cannibalism'... what a great term.

If the GOP wants to see victory in November, they should do well to remember that it is imperative that they support all the Republican candidates running, Tea Party or otherwise, because if we don't unite against the democrats, we will surely pull defeat out of the jaws of victory... again.

This is no time for internecine squabbles amongst ourselves.

So What's New?

Big Party Week For The Obamas

Huh?

EVERY week is big party week for the king and queen of America.

Oh, I guess it's big because not only do they have the regular parties, but they also have two, count'em two, gala events scheduled this week.

Poor things, they're going to need a vacation to recuperate. Partying is such hard work, people.

Endless Outrage

I am happy to be on my feet again after a long weekend with a gastrointestinal bug. Ugh!

Happened to catch this spot on column by Michelle Malkin:

The Eternal Flame Of Muslim Outrage

Islamists are growing more emboldened by the day. When will the rest of the world get it and tell them to stuff it?

It's All Relative

Hawkins pulls no punches in this short piece...

Michelle Obama's Changing Image

But let me be clear, MO has never impressed me at all, either physically or from what she has revealed about the workings of her mind and the bitterness in her soul.

Humor

I saw this photo on Lucianne.com and I wanted to pass it on...

In case you're wondering, the picture was taken at the funeral service of civil rights activist Dorothy Height at the National Cathedral on April 29, 2010.
