Thunderbirds

Two U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds perform a mirror formation during Aviation Nation Air Show @ Nellis AFB in Vegas.

This picture makes my heart just swell up with pride.

Love those jets. When I was a child my father and I happened to see the Blue Angels up close and personal. Man...

Is that dog Paris Hilton in "drag"?

They used to show up every other year at Hanscom, MA. Hasn't happened now for a few years. Hoping it will start up again.

i love them, too. i prefer the tomcats, because i spent so much time around them, but they are being phased out, and will soon be gone. on veterans day we always have jets fly over our town, they look and sound beautiful, like the american spirit they represent.

Whoa...how in the hell do they do that?

I would want to be the one in the top jet. The upside down one makes me queasy.
Those guys are amazing!

one of my clearest childhood memories is of watching the Thunderbirds at Myrtle Beach Airforce base. I was stunned by the display!

Michele sent me.

I used to live by San Francisco where they'd have the Blue Angels flying around through the city every once in a while...well, not THROUGH the city, but under bridges and stuff.
It's freaky!
This pic, it freaks me out, if only because it makes me think of Tom Cruise.

I get goosebumps from this picture. I'm glad these formidable pilots are on our side.

BTW Crazy Cruise probably thinks he can fly like that because he was in a fly movie once.

We used to go to the air shows every year. Security being what it is, they've stopped them during the war. I do miss them.
