I grant that some of these questions may have been theoretical and I can see some equivocation here and there, but IT IS A FACT that the earth orbits the sun and everyone on this planet should know that.
This is just unbelievable.

Sandee: It's not surprising. We've been "educating" legions of liberal morons for decades.

Another sorry commentary on our educational system! I learned that the earth orbited the sun when I was in 1st grade.
Also, don't people watch those Jimmy Dean Sandwich commercials, the one showing the planets orbiting the sun?
Always On Watch: I remember the evening when I explained to my little daughter that stars were suns for other solar systems... the look on her face when that realization hit her was priceless.
I don't think she ever looked at the night sky the same way.
I found this appalling too. I'd better quit saying the sun is returning to earth. It might reinforce those with low information.
