We Live In Truly Terrifying Times
The Obama administration's shenanigans will continue to haunt the country until the swamp is drained.
"O God, I could be bounded in a nutshell, and count myself a king of infinite space—were it not that I have bad dreams."

Wow, where did you find that pic! Looks like an acid trip... Well, no president or government is perfect, n power is the biggest corrupter of all!
Snaggle Tooth: I never had a "bad" acid trip, so I can't relate to that. I just found this image on the internet. There wasn't info on the artist or I would've attributed. It is the stuff of my nightmares.
And yes, absolute power corrupts absolutely. That's why the checks and balances between our three branches of government are so important. That doesn't always happen when one branch circumvents the law.
I don't remember one branch circumventing the law as brazenly as has happened recently. But what is done with only a pen and a phone can be undone apparently just as easily.Undoing 8 years will not happen quickly.
Jan: I don't remember the Watergate offenses being as brazen, yet at the time, the MSM made it seem like the sky was falling and our Constitutional Republic wouldn't survive the GOP assault. Here we go again, but this time it's the affirmative action lazy Daisy to whom they've awarded rock star status who stands accused of shenanigans. What will happen is anyone's guess, but you're right, the adjudication won't be quick work.
Well, it's all media driven.
They used to be the fourth estate, a check on the other three.
Like a bad tonsil, they now threaten instead of protecting...
Ed Bonderenka: Yes, the media is certainly supporting obama and helping driving this, just like they drove Watergate, except today they're driving on the other side of the road.
Call it bad tonsils, call it an infected appendix, call it a metastasizing cancer, the MSM is threatening and not helping.
It's sad to watch, that's all i know.
Messymimi: We are living some nightmarish stuff. Still, I tell myself that others have withstood worse times and have lived to tell about it. I keep that in mind.
FinallY!!! I was looking for some Hamlet on the internet this morning (or maybe just a nut shell). You did steal my thunder on your last comment, cube. Things are not hunky dory right now in our time, but the country has been through much more nightmarish times. This too shall pass. “This above all: to thine own self be true.”
Dablade: There's always room for Hamlet... it's kind of like Jello that way. And like Jello, this, too, shall pass. Don't forget, 2B or not 2B... perchance to dream. Oh, wait I'm mixing my metaphorical soup ;)
The swamp will get drained too. It's about time. Obama is showing is true self even more now that's he's out of office. No surprise to me.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
Sandee: I can only hope the swamp draining will happen sooner and not later. I don't think swamp is the right metaphor for a shark infested body of water 'cause, besides gators, most swamp critters aren't out to kill you.
