Scientists Unveil Event Horizon Telescope’s First Image Of A Galaxy’s Monster Black Hole

Courtesy of the Event Horizon telescope, or EHT, the picture shows a halo of dust and gas, tracing the outline of a colossal black hole, at the heart of the Messier 87 galaxy, 55 million light years from Earth.

What are the odds that we see the accretion disk face on?
Not at any angle.
God wanted us to see that.
