Very cool - Cats place each hind paw directly in the print of the corresponding fore paw, minimizing noise and visible tracks (by Mass1m011973) pic.twitter.com/awsW0aYsNi

For this Cat Blog Friday...
... learning the way your basic house cat walks.
Wow.
Makes me love my cats even more.
😺
Happy Friday everybody!

Wow is right. I'd not noticed this before.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day and weekend, my friend. ♥
Happy weekend.
I've noticed this phenomena with my Erica kitteh. Also - when there's snow, if Frankie doggie goes out first, Erica will walk exactly in his paw steps. Now since kittehs walk in their own paw prints it explains how she can walk exactly in Frankie's tracks. I did wonder how she did that.
They are absolutely amazing creatures.
Sandee: I never noticed this either, but it makes me respect my kittehs even more. Thanks for the plug!
R's Rue: Likewise! 🙂
Messymimi: They are, aren't they? My respect for their coolness grows by the day.
Adrienne: Yes, I see how you could observe that in the snow. They are remarkable creatures.
Cats brains mostly resemble human brains. They also know their names and understand what you say to them. Like husbands though, they don't often let on.
That is amazing. Mice don't have a chance.
