Throwback Thursday

This is where I went to 6th grade, the Holy Name of Jesus school in Manhattan, a very humbling structure.

After lunch we'd play on the sidewalk and sniper nuns would watch us from the parapets.

One day a bunch of us got in BIG trouble for holding hands and spinning in a circle.

We had to bring notes home for our parents to sign absolving the school from liability in case we cracked our skulls performing daredevil acts.ðŸ˜ą

Those were the days...

John and I had to stay after class in the 6th grade because he put my chair on my desk for me. The teacher thought that was too romantic an act for 6th graders.

School was riddled with pitfalls. I hit most of them and I'm happy about that.

Have a fabulous day. ♥

Granny Annie: Those were more innocent days.

Sandee: I was often the ringleader, but looked so innocent I was hardly ever blamed for anything. This time the sniper nun caught all of us in the daredevil act and ratted us out to our teacher, Sister Pauline, who was a real harda$$.

Those were the days. I was spanked by ugly nuns, and by one Super Hot nun in 3rd grade, who quickly found out I was enjoying it too much as I lay across her lap.

By the time i had nuns as teachers, most of the younger ones no longer wore the full habits. The older ones were a bit stricter, but only one was actually mean.

I lament that those innocent days have passed. Times have changed.

Happy Easter
