Out of Reuters comes this story about a German woman who found a frozen dead dog when she opened the refrigerator freezer compartment in her new apartment.
The previous tenant told the police that didn't have time to give it a proper burial.
Huh?

Well isn't that just like a dog to find delight in washing dishes? Maybe I can hire him to wash mine. Ha!
Wow! The worst thing I ever found was a closet full of s-x toys - which was disgusting enogh as they weren't in packaging anymore, if you know what I mean.

When I moved in to an apartment right off of campus, the previous tenant told me there was a weird smell and she couldn't figure out what it was. It was a cool apartment, and living quarters were always in short supply near my university, so I took it anyway.
About a week after I moved in, I found a plastic bag with chicken in it that she'd leftin a cabinet several weeks before. It was all full of maggots, and even the upstairs neighbor was complaining about the stink. It was truly awful, I figure that must be what it's like when someone dies and no one finds them right away.
Now I'm really careful about my trash and food storage, that was nasty...
