I Was A fanatic...I Know Their Thinking, Says Former Radical Islamist, Hassan Butt

Terror Plot

These two articles tell me much about the difference between radical Islamists and the teachings of Islam... the line btween them is blurring.

So that's why my comments are down to such a low level... ;-)

If my name were Hassan Butt, I would totally become a terrorist.

The line was always blurred, but in the West, it would be racist and entail religious vilification to state the bleedin' obvious.

So everyone craps on about Islam as the religion of "peace", with a few bad eggs misinterpreting scripture. (Difficult to misinterpret the Koran, quite frankly, but we're not allowed to point that out either.)

Just because they want to take over the world doesn't mean they're not real peaceful, right?

To me, radical religious zealots are all the same. What about those Christian whackos? Or what about cults?

It's all the same.

The scary thing is the pure numbers of all the Islamic extremists.

beckeye: It's worse than you think. I hear Hassan's middle name is Brobdingnagian.

caz: Exactly why we must stop the PC crap and start calling it like we see it.

These are not poor, disaffected youth who feel excluded from the rest of society. These are people with warped minds. And I'm seeing the warpage coming from the teachings of Islam, mainly the Wahabist sects. It's time we addressed the source.

phoenix: I think the Islamofacists are way scarier. When was the last time any one of those religions had world domination on their list of things to do?

Yah, I hear the term 'asian' pretty much means Muslim in the UK media.

Cube,

You are so right!

What is Phoenix talking about? The acts of extremists of all other faiths combined amount to statistical insignificance compared to moslem terror.

Why can't people who won't take the time to study history at least do us the favor of keeping their uninformed opinions to themselves.

Nice people like Phoenix mean well I'm sure but the fact is Mom was wrong: if you leave a hornet alone it may still atack you. Sorry mon but that is the truth.

The crusades were in response to 300 years of moslem aggression in all directions. When they finally were poised to push beyond the Balkans and Iberia deep into central Europe we (the west) finally turned them and pushed them back to where they are today.

This is too complex to go into here and I am certainly a long winded cuss but I'll sum with these thoughts: 1) Trillions of dollars in oil wealth over 80 years and not one Arab state has a diverse economy- this is our fault?

2)When a christian converts to Judaism, Hindu, Bhudism, Zoroastrianism or anything else there are NO voices in any church calling for their death!

3)When someone expresses the desire to kill you it is important to see facts as they exist, not how you wish them to be.

Get some,

QQ
