Jan: The plotline of all 5 Sharknado movies is pretty much the same. You follow a group of people trying to survive when a tornado stirs up the water and the sharks come into flooded metropolitan areas. They are mostly supposed to be scary, but they have their tongue-in-cheeks moments, too.

Stay out of flood water! For this and other reasons. The movies sound scary and cheesy at the same time.
