Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
Money can't buy you love.
Ed Bonderenka: Money isn't inherently bad. The love of money isn't a good thing. It can lead you to bad places.
Poor little rich girl.I'm sorry that it was so bad that she felt comfortable ending herself and scarring everyone around her who loved her. It sounds like a selfish act by somebody who had emotional issues. Bruce Jenner may carry her bags?
LL: Narcissa was her name. Didn't she hang herself with on of her designer scarfs? That might be an urban myth, but I know that her poor child won't have an easy life no matter how much money comes her way.
Cube, she's pretty darned well known...a friend of mine's daughter worked for her. Wonderful colors, interesting styles. I can't slam her; I thank God I don't know depression like that. But, ya....she's not like the name GUCCI or VERSACE, so I can see you not knowing her. xx
Z: I never knew her name. I'm not a big fashionista. In my sixties I'm all about comfort. I love me my yoga pants and tennis shoes so I'm not into fashion. But this woman's life affects me. I worry for daughter.
I never carry a purse, tho sometimes a tote bag. No matter how good you may have it, some things are obviously impossible for some folks to deal with. Only she knows her reasons. We know the child would keep us from ever doing such a thing, but there is no way to fathom why she thought her daughter would be better off without her. Now ultimately, she is a failure at life...
Like many others I find it incomprehensible that a woman with a 13 yo daughter could do this. How bad must it have been to be in her head.I'm quite familiar with her designs as I found them to be always ladylike and modest.
I knew who she was, but never bought any of her purses. I'm not into purses and haven't been for years. All that money and miserable. Money cannot buy one happiness.Have a fabulous day. ♥
Snaggle Tooth: I can't imagine the pain that woman was in to leave her child. To not want to see her grow up, go to college, get married, have grandchildren. It's so sad.
Adrienne: It's so sad. You're right, how bad could it have been in her head.
Sandee: You're not into purses? So where in the world did you carry? Ankle? As far as money goes, I would've been happier with more money in my life. I wasn't a trust fund kid. I was the first in my family to go to college, but I worked my way through. It was a tough road to hoe, but I did it.
I had never heard of her either but suicide is the ultimate selfish act.
Jan: Suicide is a horrible sight for your loved ones to find. At least she didn't shoot herself like Hemingway did. Her way out was bloodless. A small consolation.
