I'm a Trump supporter too. There are so many swamp creatures. Sometimes you have to have them close to see what they are up too. I'm guessing everyone is running a bit scared right now.
Sandee: I get keeping your enemies close, but I'm not going to arm them. CIA Director is a very powerful position. If it's true that Haspel has such past baggage with Brenner, a known, resolute never-Trumper, she can throw a lot of monkey wrenches into Trump's momentum.
Seems like Trump generally goes with # 2 when he gets rid of # 1. It isn't working out well. If # 1 was bad it's highly unlikely that # 2 who should be up to speed on what's going on in the agency is worth anything.
Kid: I'm not happy with the choice myself, but Trump is always stuck behind a rock and a hard place. He gets no solace anywhere. If he picks an honest player, like Barr, they make it sound like he's picking a lackey. I don't know how the man functions every day with enemies on all sides.
Cube, I have No Doubt Trump (And Family) knew what sort of evil they'd be dealing with when they signed up. None of this is a surprise to any of them and in fact I'm sure DJT knows more about leftist crimes than we will Ever know. The open question is who will win out. ?
PS - Anyone the left does NOT complain about (CIA Haspel?, FBI Wray?) is no good. Anyone the left Does Complain about - Barr - is a good one. Well they are at least transparent at last.
