Roach Eating Contest
Yes this buggy story is true. Six Flags Great America is offering visitors of its Halloween-themed FrightFest a chance to get out of waiting in long lines to get on rides. From October 7 through October 29, customers who eat a live 3 inch Madagascar hissing cockroach get unlimited line-jumping privileges for themselves and four others.
Six Flags spokesman James Taylor says he's hoping somebody can beat the British man who currently holds the cockroach-eating world recorded - 36 roaches, recorded in the 2001 Guinness Book of World Records.
Don't hold your breath, dude.

Gag! Some people are forever searching for their 15 minutes of fame. But eating cockroaches???
UNCOOKED?
aow: I prefer to toil in anonymity rather than eat a roach.
nanc: you must eat it alive to get the perks.
Ugh..... Well, they can survive a nuke, so I'm worried they'll survive in your stomache...
ok I think Imma b sick...ikkk!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd be curious to see how many folks actually do this. Me, I'd rather wait in line.
I'm with Eyes! ACK!
My biology and anatomy teacher in high school had a couple of those detestable creatures in the back of the classroom. He offered extra credit to anyone willing to let one of the horrific things crawl all over them for one minute... Let's just say that I did not get said extra credit!
I would so eat them to skip waiting in line for a favorite ride!!!
Not no, but Hell no! The rides aren't worth it.
I wouldn't eat a small roach much less a ginormous one like that even if they told me it tasted like chicken.
I don't care if they paid my admission.
I don't care if they threw in a deep muscle massage.
No way.
Although I'm fairly certain I've already eaten a roach or two in my life (I've eaten in some real dives) I can't imagine doing it on purpose. Really, has a line ever been THAT bad? I think not...
No frickin' way!!
There is NO ride in the world worth that.
