The Droning One

From TMZ.com comes this Breaking Snooze...

Barack-a-Bye Baby -- Obama Advisor Nods Off

Lawrence Summers, Director of the White House's National Economic Council, was caught dozing off during a meeting with credit card officials.

This is one of the dangers of long, monotonous speeches in which there is much talk, but very little of substance is actually said.

Thank goodness Larry wasn't behind the wheel of a car during BO's tedious droning...

Droning and driving doesn't mix.

Lawrence Summers' track record is well known. He helped Bill Clinton close out his Presidency with 8 constant years of deficits and $1.6 trillion in new national debt added. And don't forget the recession of 2000.

Perhaps once he gives Barack the advice of "do the same, and more of it" (bigger deficits, bigger debt, bigger recession) all he has to do at that point is sleep.

Ananda girl: Coffee!!!!

Nanc: I change the channel too. It is unbearable.

dmarks: I'm not a big Larry Summers fan. It seems like BO could use some help when it comes to picking cabinet and key advisory positions.

I have yet to hear any Obama speech that doesn't make me want to hibernate.
