Beware of The BLOG...it creeps, it leaps, it glides & slides all over the place.
Isn't this just awful?I'm disgusted and saddened at the same time.
Target survived the al-Qaida, but not the American system of protecting our pets. Ironic.
Welcome home Target. Sad
That is a little bit quick on the turnaround time from catch to kill. Geez.
I can't look at the link after reading what it's about. OH MY GOSH...Poor Target.I think, actually, that a lot of our soldiers have survived al qaida but not the new American system..PERIOD!
Cube - I wondered about that - they seemed in a big hurry to do it. I can't imagine how those people felt. I know how I would feel.
cube, off topic, do you like that DAGEN on Imus?
Always On Watch: It makes me so mad. I can't believe they don't give these dogs a little more time. Jan: Good point. This reminds me of your recent Tough Buddy post. I think the are too quick to euthanize.Chuck: Poor dog. Poor family. AnnoyingJoe: Exactly.
Z: Very good point. It appears that the dog ran away on a Friday. The family thought the shelter was already closed and when they went there on Monday, Target was already dead. Sue: I hope they learn to not euthanize so quickly, especially around a weekend when most shelters are closed. I know I would be mad as hell. I do feel very bad for the little boy in the family who just wants his dog back.
Z: About Dagen...I used to like her better before she became such a dirt girl. Honestly, she needs to learn not to tell all she knows. But I suspect it has something to do with the Imus show. Remember Janice Green? When Imus was on MSNBC, she was a real potty mouth, but now that she's a FOX weather person, she's showing much more decorum. I think it's show biz. What do you think of Dagen? Also, what do you think of her sister Megan?
DaBlade: A very sad tale.
Sad indeed, but utter rank stupidity is the root cause behind the problem. We have far too many lack of common sense mental giants in charge of the erector set.
Oh! That is the saddest thing I've seen all day, and it makes me want to beat someone!
Steve Harkonnen: So true. Remember the chinese curse of living in interesting times? Well, sometimes I think we are living in stupid times. Brooke: I feel that way myself sometimes.
I'm sorry he didn't have the ID chip implanted in his beautiful dog; the heartbreak over the loss, must make him feel guilty. It is fairly cheap, and common enough that vets are able to check for info. I know of several "chipped" dogs returned to their owners, that otherwise may have had a similar fate. I am under the impression they make this mistake more often than reported. Instead of Christmas gifts for friends who don't need any, it is easy to purchase dog food and bring it to your animal shelter. I wish I could take a pound dog but I can't replace the one I had for 16 years-he was too much part of my life.
I don't know who Megan is or I didn't put them together.Janice Greene? It's DEAN, isn't it? OR do I have the wrong girl? The one who was on baby duty recently ..does the weather? The one whose mouth butter can't melt? REALLY? SHe's SO goody-two shoes...I don't remember her before on Imus!! That's quite something! She looks so clean cut I'm surprised she was a 'bad girl'!! Imus can do that.Degan just disgusts me...I don't ever want to hear about her holding her dress over her head or nose hairs or throwing up or sex with anybody from HER....I really can't take her AT ALL. Gad, that accent and the mouth are too much! Probably she's a terrific gal but she's low on Imus. Megan McDowell?? What's she on? I tried to Google and can't find anything but Facebooks, and I'm not doing Facebook.
rctlfy: I'm sorry the dog wasn't microchipped either, but considering the soldier brought it home from Afghanistan, his family certainly spent some money on the dog and possibly couldn't afford it. I don't know; I'm just saying. Your idea about Christmas gifts touched my heart which is why I didn't refer to you as rectalfly.
Z: You're absolutely right. It is Janice Dean, not Green. (The mistake is a long story that dates back to the Gong Show days). And yes, JD the weather machine, currently on baby duty, used to be on Imus (MSNBC) and she was quite vulgar. I think that's considered schtick on Imus.I've watched Dagen for years and it is only since her appearances on Imus that she has begun to sound offensive. She needs a censor in her head. Megan, her "sister" is really Rob play acting, with a wig and make up. He goes beyond Dagen's frontier.
Cube, is that ROB one of those two guys who are supposed to be funny?..the fat guy and the Black guy? I can't watch them, I swear I can't! They come on, I click on to something else (mind you it starts at 3 AM HERE :-) It's insomnia heaven until the two guys come on.'I adore Bernard...Doesn't Imus seem softer and sweeter lately? what do you think of Deirdre?
Z: Yes, Rob is the fat guy and he dons a wig and heavy make up when he plays Megan, Degan's sister, who has even less self-control. It is surreal. I think you should watch it once and judge how funny it is for yourself. I love Bernie's bits. I come running when I hear the whistle. I miss him doing the Cardinal bit with the Fedex envelope.
Cube, The Humane society does it for $35, but if you want a rctlfy reply, I could have added: ....take a picture of a pound pouch, and write on it "Your ass is fat enough. So I bought the dog a meal instead" ;-)
rctlfy: lol. It's funny, but I hope I don't get one under my tree. You might want to work on the delivery.
Are you saying I'd have to donate two 50lb bags of dog food for your gift and add ...So I bought the dog an appetizer instead"?Rectalfly? For someone who has satire written twice in his profile, you do seem to lack Reason. You know the rules!
I heard this the other day, just awful. We are such dog lovers it breaks my heart. DebbieRight Truthhttp://www.righttruth.typepad.com
rectalfly: I happen to think I have reason to spare. I will send my excess your way. BTW there are no rules.Debbie: Very sad.
I thought you were a H&R commenter but I see that remark didn't register. Oops
rectalfly: I'm glad you know what you're talking about.
