That's a lot of books.

Libraries and bookstores around here are very popular.

Groucho had some good ones. I haven't read a book in a loooong time. Just don't like to read. Maybe I'll pick it up again someday. Maybe I'll try and write one.

I got rid of my World Book quite a while back.
As encyclopedias, they were way out of date...

LL: I wish they were all mine.

Jan: Two of my favorite places. Now I favor libraries more because I can't buy any more books. Just don't have the room for them.

Kid: You may not read books, but I'd bet you read a lot online. I know spend way too much time doing that.

Ed Bonderenka: A super happy night for me was the night we received our set of World Books. I couldn't put them down. It was with a heavy heart when we ended up parting ways, although for nostalgic reasons, I did keep one volume and the dictionary. They were the internet of my youth.

Messymimi: I don't like to think about a world without books either *shudder*

Looks like a library designed by a modern architect. Or some sort of artist.

Beautiful to look at but unusable for its purpose. Unusable for searching or "going through the stacks". How do you find and get to the one you're looking for? What if you don't know which one you want and you need to find it by picking up a dozen and looking through them?
