On May 5, you're stuck drinking Mescal (including the worm in the bottle) - or Mexican beer - as you down your tacos. If you really want to be earthy, drink pulque, a local Mexican (usually bathtub) liquor.
If you drink Pulque, you could be blind for three days afterward as you detox. I'm not saying that it will be a FULL three days of blindness, but it could be. Such is the price one pays for fully celebrating Cinco de Mayo (only celebrated in the USA, not a Mexican holiday). Give some to Taz...canary in the mine.

Knob Creek Rye in the pantry now, but if your pouring...
I go Grey Goose with you. I rarely drink hard liquor, but I can do a spicy bloody mary from time to time. Great idea. ♥
Back in the day, I liked Jim Beam. These days, it is only half proof vodka produced by elves.

I have never had grey Goose. Not big on whisky- prefer rum or Kahlua.
