Those are so unique i was wondering if someone made it up. Turns out, there are also bee orchids, a white egret orchid, and a couple of them that look like other birds. Fascinating!
I think I'll stick to my one phalaenopsis. It rewarded me with two bloom periods in the past 6 months, and is now busy making some new leaves - and it doesn't stare at me.
Messymimi: I never knew this and I have a degree in Biology! In any event, it's good to know. I will be forever a student. I mean seriously, how boring would it be to know everything.
Adrienne: Orchids are beautiful, especially the ones that don't stare. I just can't seem to keep them alive. Truth be told, I've killed cacti before so I either over-nurture or under- nurture. Just ask my daughters 😉

Those are cool. I didn't know there was such a thing.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Nature is wonderful isn't it. btw - They tell me they know what you did and when, but they won't tell me what it was.

Sandee: I didn't know either.
Kid: Nature is fantabulous.
Those monkey orchids better never tell because I paid them well for their silence.

Cube, Keep Cacti in a sunny place and only water when it rains in Phoenix.
