Why Do Birds Sing?

Does anyone really know why birds sing? Let's just be grateful that they do.

Drone Organ Delivery

The First Ever Drone Organ Delivery Resulting In A Transplant, A Success

This unmanned drone delivered a donor organ in about 5 minutes -- an unprecedented feat -- providing hope for patients on the transplant list.

I wonder how long it will take before idiots try to sabotage this.

Launch

At the time Apollo 11 launched I was twelve and thinking why were we going to a dead moon rather than the more fascinating Mars.

A lot of science and math courses later, I realized the amount of drive and talent and money it took to achieve a feat, that in fifty years, no other country in this world has duplicated.

KAG.

A Lying Liar

Ilhan Omar Admits Lying to High School Students

Omar told a story to a group of high school students about a "sweet, old ... African American lady" who was arrested for stealing a $2 loaf of bread to feed her starving 5-year-old granddaughter."

The Washington Post had several pieces of evidence indicating Omar was not entirely truthful about this experience.

I can't believe anyone is surprised to hear about a lying moslem. Lying to non-moslems, taqiya, is a tenet of islam.

So, if moslem lips are flapping, chances are they are lying. Bet on it.

Sad

Mad Magazine To Stop Publishing Issues With New Content This Fall

I'm sad to hear this. I grew up reading Mad magazine and it's very much the reason for my satirical outlook on life. I'm sad for future kids that won't have something this wonderful to warp their minds. 😉

Wonder Monday

Monday Monday doesn't look too bad for me this week. My girls will soon be under the same roof again. Anytime that happens is a good thing for me and our family. ♥

Knuckleheaded Knitters

While Social Media Giants Struggle to Police Hate Speech and Divisive Rhetoric, This Knitting Site Just Banned Posts Supporting the Trump Administration

From Ravelry: We are banning support of Donald Trump and his administration on Ravelry. We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy. More details: https://ravelry.com/content/no-trump …

Trump supports open white supremacy?

Are they serious?

I'm all atwitter about this...

Twits

I joined Twitter many years ago at the behest of a blog friend and then she dropped off the end of the Earth. The account stood silent for years, but recently I checked it out and I was intrigued by the speed, the brevity, the vastness of it all.

OK, so I follow politics, true crime, nature, food, and horror movie sites. No problem, right? Yet a site called "Dr. Horror Geek," which posted horror movie stills and discussed classic horror movies and books all of a sudden posts liking a post from Alexandria Ocasio-Ortiz saying "This president needs to be impeached."

This is on a horror movie, book, art ...whatever, horror site.

Seriously?

This person chose to drag politics into what was a totally apolitical situation.

My opinions on The BLOG are mine and there are no boundaries. On Twitter there are boundaries. People should follow them.

Crevy vs Bronco

25 Years Since OJ Simpson White Bronco Car Chase

Above is an actual picture of my 1992 Blazer. Needless to say, during the dramatic Bronco chase, a few jokers called for me to 'turn OJ in' because my car looked very much like the infamous Bronco.

Where did the last 25 years go?

Now I hear OJ Simpson is on Twitter and, by the way, so is Bill Cosby. We do live in some interesting times, don't we?

Sloppy Joe Biden

Cartoonist Ben Garrison is spot on with this one:

“Creepy Joe” is a serial groper. He loves to grab women from behind and sniff their hair. He even does this with little girls.

President Trump created a meme for Biden: “Sleepy Joe.” It’s a play on both his age and his lackluster style of campaigning. He’s sleepwalking through his campaign.

He could also be called “Sloppy Joe” for his careless and corrupt dealings with Ukraine and China—in order to benefit his disgraced son, Hunter.

Another knick name might be ‘Flip Floppy Joe.’ Like a cynical weathervane, he moves in whatever direction he thinks might attract the most voters, regardless of the issue.

If he gets the nomination, he’ll end up being ‘Weepy Joe’ because he stands no chance against Trump.

The Deep Swamp

Who Ran Crossfire Hurricane?

You know that I'm a Trump supporter, but I don't know what he was thinking when he appointed this swamp critter as Director of Central Intelligence.
