... a rather blurry photo of our black cat, Felix, whom we call 'Country Fee' when he dons his fancy bonnet.

Oh, good, it's a bonnet! I thought he had a headache!! :-)
Very cute! Happy Friday, Cube!

Yeah, and he just loves wearing his fancy bonnet... NOT! It was just something that occurred to one of my girls, the picture was taken, and now it's part of the history of our home.

BTW do you remember how the old cartoons would have a character wear a scarf tied around the top of their head for a toothache? As though that would help at all. Just an old funny memory.

Cat-toure Cat Clothes: Absolutely. We were just playing.

BTW your site has some really nice cat clothing.

WomanHonorThyself: Have a good weekend!

Karen Howes: You are right. We consider him our big Fancy Boy who gives us glamor eyes, especially when he wants food which is all the time. This is one food-driven cat.

I love both cats and dogs, but
I can't profess an overwhelming preference because I love animals in general... reptiles, fish, birds, rodents, etc., you name it, chances are I'll like it.

I can't tolerate bugs, though. They freak me out.

I love pretty much all animals too. I don't hate cats or anything, just prefer dogs as pets. Though cats ARE easier to take care of and more independent...

With you on bugs too... roaches scare the bejesus out of me.

Cube,
Your cat? He's gorgeous -- in spite of the bonnet.

cube said...

Karen Howes: Yeah, we get some big bugs down here in Florida. Those flying Palmetto bugs are nasty!

Steve Harkonnen: What?

Always On Watch: Thanks. That picture doesn't do him justice, though. He is more beautiful in person.

My cats would have been BACKING OUT from that bonnet...you know how you put a piece of cloth on their backs and they back up...cracks me UP as if that's going to get the thing off?!! So cute. I miss my two so much. He was my 'cat soul mate' and died at 17, Musetta lived till 20, bless her little heart.

and yes, I do remember the toothache cured by a scarf tied around the head! I'd forgotten!

Cube - cute little black cat Felix.

But what I'd like to know is if you saw Predators - or better yet, Inception.

cube said...

Brooke: Thanks. It's Monday now that I'm replying, but my weekend was quiet which is exactly how I wanted it. Hope yours was good too.

cube said...

Z: Believe me, it wasn't easy to get that bonnet on Felix. He wasn't at all pleased.

I can relate to your feelings about your beloved cats. I miss one in particular, Baldy, who lived to be 16. She was thrusted upon us by a neighbor who didn't want her anymore. We already had a cat, but we felt sorry for the little black kitten, so we adopted her. She turned out to be one of the best cats I ever had and I still miss her.

Sounds like you need a new kitten :-)

Sue: No, but both have been recommended to me, especially Inception. My youngest saw both with friends, but wants to see Inception again. She's says it's the kind of movie I like. From the reviews, I agree.

What did you think of them?

sue said...

Cube -

Predators - I'm sure you know what it's about. Surprisingly, my son-in-law and I liked it. Good ending.

Inception - Great movie. You need to try to see it in a theater. I went back a second time just because I liked it so much.

sue said...

I wanted to add: Although I may have other movies that are my favorites, Inception is possibly the best movie I have ever seen - just all around.

cube said...

Sue: You can't believe how many people have recommended this movie to me. I'm dying to see it. We're just working out the logistics of getting me and my daughters, one a college student and one a junior in high school together in one place to watch it. We're trying.

sue said...

cube - When I really want to see something I go by myself - at night. This is one you don't want to miss. It's a movie for smart people.

cube said...

Sue: The last movie I watched by myself was Annie Hall when I was in college. I loved the movie, but it felt as though I was the
only one in the theater by herself and it just didn't feel cool to me.

If my girls and I can't coordinate our busy schedules to watch Inception at the theater, then there's always DVD. My favorite way to watch movies anyway.

Cube - I feel comfortable if there are at least 4 or 5 other people in the theatre. My favorite thing is going to midnight showings for good movies like Ironman. There is always a party-like atmosphere.

Somehow I missed Annie Hall. I've always wondered what it was like.

The thing about Inception is that it needs to be seen in the theater because of special effects.
